I want to thank prof. Andrzej Targowski and Dr. Irmina Targowska for the fantastic welcoming of me in Saugatuck. That holiday in the United States turned out to be a breakthrough in my pursuit to realise my own needs and the crystallisation of my life goals.

The conversations we shared about ambitions, science and moral attitudes were so motivating for me, that the idea for the book, which had emerged in my mind sometime before, suddenly became achievable.

I am grateful to my friends, Agnieszka Couderq and Waldemar „Major” Fydrych, for their numerous consultations and emotional support towards the project.

I am happy to be surrounded by so many people who, besides the obvious “consumption” of life, strive to leave a better world behind them. I at least hope to become a little bit closer to being a part of this group.

I would like to extend a special gratitude to all the reviewers, whose authority supported the publication of this book.

I would like to thank Joanna Bojańczyk and Michał Zaczyński – known polish journalists who write about fashion amongst other topics, as well as actress Magdalena Różczka and the brilliant designer Mariusz Przybylski.

I am also exceptionally thankful for the support I have received from Elaine Englehardt, researcher at the University of Utah and one of the most famous professors of ethics in the United States.

Once again, thank you so much to all of the people mentioned above.

An additional thank you to SOHO Factory, for providing interiors for the book’s photo session.
